|New 'Fifth Fridays' Event

Have you found that getting the word out to your customers, membership or supporters is the most difficult aspect of planning special events and promoting your business or organization? The new Fifth Fridays event sponsored by the City of Portales Cultural Affairs Committee, the Portales Arts Council and Portales MainStreet may be the solution!
Fifth Fridays is a Portales communitycultural event that will take place each month that a fifth Friday occurs (four times annually in rotating months) beginning THIS September 30, 2011. Your participation will bring the community to you! The cost is only $25 per Fifth Fridays event or $60 for your commitment to participate in all four events annually. For this small fee, we’ll get the word out for you about your fabulous Fifth Fridays event via printed and electronic media and the radio.
Sponsor an art show at your business! Host a local musician at your doorstep! Partner with a community non-profit organization and support their annual fundraiser—a geranium sale at a furniture store!
Ten venues and their events will be featured each fifth Friday, and slots are available on a first come, first served basis. Sign up NOW so you don’t miss out! The 2011-12 Fifth Fridays dates are as follows, choose one date or do them all:
